Pauline Vianna (Stein) Lee died Thursday, June 27th, 2013 at Bronson Hospital in Kalamazoo, Michigan.
She was born September 30th, 1936 in Buckley, Michigan, the daughter of Joseph and Crystal (Pahl) Stein. She married Ron Lee of Suttons Bay in 1955. They moved to Mancelona in 1965 where she remained until retiring. She then lived in Traverse City for several years until moving to Schoolcraft, Michigan to be near her daughter, son-in-law and grandchildren.
Pauline's passion and gift was working with young children. She earned certification in early childhood development and worked with the Mancelona Head Start program. She enjoyed bowling, putt-putt golf and sewing. She shared the last 18 years with her cat, Angel, who passed just hours before she did.
She is survived by her daughter, Cheryl Lee, son-in-law Ron Wolak; two grandchildren, Tom and Lauren all of Vicksburg, MI; three sisters, Wanda Rushton of Mancelona; Yvonne Skellet of Clio; Thelma (Jake) Sedlacek of Kingsley; and one brother, Bill (Doris) Stein of Kingsley.
She was preceded in death by her parents and three siblings.
Cremation has taken place and a private family service will be at a later date.
