Philip Kasper Focht, 80 of Cassopolis, Michigan passed away Sunday, February 19, 2023 at home.
He was born in Philadelphia, PA on July 14, 1942, the son of Philip Kasper Focht, Sr. and Helen Ruff.
On July 4, 2007, in Marcellus he married Linda Lou Peever who survives him in death.
Philip loved his job as a custodian for Marcellus Schools for 25 years.
Philip loved going to Garage Sales, Flea Markets, Antique stores. He enjoyed working with his hands and loved helping other people.
Philip is survived by his wife Linda; sons Philip (Bonnie) Focht, of South Bend IN, Joe Focht of Niles, daughters; Sandy (Scott) Mathew of Niles, step-daughters; Christi (James) Johnson of Marcellus, Kim (Tiffany) Whitney of Chicago IL; 14 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren; sister Margaret (Alex) McKenzie of Washington, brother; Joseph “Buddy” (Wanda) Focht and many friends and coworkers.
Philip is preceded in death by his parents Philip and Helen, son; Rick Focht, stepson; Pete, sisters; Patricia and Rosemary.
Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will take place at a later date. Memorial donations may be directed to the Centrica Care Navigators Hospice, 7100 Stadium Dr, Kalamazoo, MI 49009. Online condolences may be left at www.materralstonfuneralhome.com .
