Phyllis Wolf

Phyllis I. Wolf, of Kalamazoo passed away on Wednesday, April 10, 2019 at the age of 99. Phyllis was born December 29, 1919 in Mulberry, IN. She was the daughter of Alta and Mable (Buck) Hetrick. She was married to George Wolf II. Phyllis was a member of the Milwood United Methodist Church for over 67 years. At Milwood UMC, she was the wedding planner for 10 years and she was a Gray Lady (Red Cross). Phyllis is preceded in death by her husband, George; two sisters: Elizabeth Curtner and Mona Glenn. She is survived by her two children: Linda Vanderberg, of Kalamazoo and George Wolf III,of FL; four grandchildren: Michael Harrison, of Kalamazoo; Jennifer (Andrew) Eischeid, of Oakland; Elizabeth (Michael) O’Donnell, of England; Jonathan Wolf, of OR; three great grandchildren: Ella Eischeid, Katelyn Eischeid, and Graydon O’Donnell. She is also survived by her brother: David (Bonnie) Hetrick, of VA; and several nieces and nephews. Per Phyllis’ wishes she has been cremated. A memorial service will be held on Thursday April 25th at 11:00 AM at Milwood United Methodist Church. Grave side services will follow at 2:30 PM at Fort Custer National Cemetery.
