Richard Donald Moss

Richard Donald Moss, Sr. departed this life on October 3, 2023; aged 92 years old. His life began on March 3, 1931 in Kalamazoo to parents Grace Keller Moss and Bernice Moss. Growing up in the Great Depression, as an only child, gave him a fierce determination to support himself and his family. At a young age he began buying used merchandise to resell at a profit. This began a life-long career for him. He was a regular fixture at all the local flea markets as a resale vendor. Most notably at Reit’s Flea Market in Paw Paw, MI, with wife Sandy and daughter Sherry for nearly 50 years. He had many interests including movies, books, music, walking, bicycle riding, pleasure driving, and a great love for animals.

He was preceded in passing by his parents, second wife Margaret, third wife Sandra, and son Richard Donald Moss, Jr. 

Left behind to cherish his memory are his children Mary Moss, Sherry Moss-Durden, Ann Moss-Mcgee, Paul Michael Moss, and daughter Robin. He also leaves behind many grandchildren and great-grandchildren to continue his legacy.
