Richard Dean Wolf

WOLF, Richard D. Kalamazoo Passed away July 21, 2012 at his home. Richard was born Jan. 20, 1928 in Traverse City the son of Raymond and Lillian (Boulle) Wolf. He was a Marine Veteran of WWII. He was a graduate of St. Augustine High School and was co owner of Ellis and Hughes Insurance Agency. He Married Ruth Ann Hunt April 23, 1949 in Kalamazoo. Surviving is his wife Ruth of 63 years, 6 children; John (Mary) Wolf, Kathy (Thomas) Rann, Jean (Mark) Matheny, Thomas (Diane) Wolf, Nancy (Steven) Fooy and Mary (Daniel) Carter, 12 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, 2 sisters, Ann (Willie) Lyon and Mary (Ken) Cooledge. He was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Robert Wolf and Rex Bixby. At his request cremation has taken place. A memorial mass will be held at St. Augustine Cathedral to be announced on our website. Interment of cremains will take place at Ft. Custer National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Hackett Catholic Central High School.
