Robert Earl Gailhouse

Robert E. Gailhouse Sr. (Bob) Age 76 Passed away Sunday, May 29th 2011. He was born Jan. 8th 1935 in Marcellus Mi. to Russell and Grace Gailhouse. Married Lenora Jean Cooper in 1953. Bob worked for Eckrich Meat Co. in Kalamazoo,Mi and Tailormade Window Co. of Portage, Mi. Went into business with his father, Gailhouse Inc. located in Three Rivers, Mi. Bob changed jobs and started working for Clifton Engineering,(Rollen Blair) and Co. ending up as N.G.Glibert where he retired. He worked for the Cass County Sheriff"s Dept. and Village of Marcellus as a crossing guard. Surviors include his wife Lenora (Jean),daughters Dolly (Charles) Clark. Debra Regner of Marcellus and son Robert (Jessica) Gailhouse Jr. of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. Seven grandchildren Michelle (Tom) Jacobs, Fred (Erika) Clark, Rachel Clark all of Marcellus. Austin Rutherford and Jeremy Rutherford of Glendora, CA. Justin Gailhouse of Mishawaka, Ind. Robert Gailhouse III of Kalamazoo, Mi. Seven great-grandchildren; Dani Jacobs of Kalamazoo, Mi.,Alyssa Jacobs, Devon Clark, Oliver Clark, Elias Webb and Gavin Webb all of Marcellus and Isabella Gailhouse of Mishawaka Ind.. Many nieces and nephews. Two special cousins Mary Anne Hoebeka of Edwardsburg, Mi.,and Jeanniane Seggerman of Granger, Ind. Preceded in death by his father Russell and Mother Grace Gailhouse. Siblings, Ellen Gailhouse, Russell Gailhouse Jr. Lucinda (Pat) Hazen, Henry Gailhouse, Betty Rarick, Geraldine Jones, James Gailhouse and Tom Gailhouse. Cremation has taken place with Avink Funeral Home Cremation Society of Schoolcraft is handling the arrangements. A memorial service will be held June 26th, 2011 at 3:00 P.M. at the Seventh-Day Adventist Church in Glenwood, Mi., located at 51089 Glenwood Rd.
