Robert D. Guerrant

Robert D. Guerrant May 10, 1955- October 29, 2020 Bob passed away at the Battle Creek Veterans Community Living Center following complications from a stroke. Bob was born and raised in Allegan, the son of the late Robert and Norma (Miller) Guerrant. He was married to Becky Benson for 35 years. Bob was an avid sportsman who loved to hunt and fish. Teaching his children and grandchildren to fish and swim at Pike Lake was one of his favorite pastimes. He was Navy a Veteran. He is survived by his wife Becky, children Brian Guerrant with Courtney Hays, Jennifer Atwood, Eric Ballinger. A sister Pamella Guerrant. Grandchildren Courtney and Robert Watkins with Leyton, Sawyer and Kinsley, Jeff and Ally Wright with Max and Abby, Austin and Jessica Wright with Miai and Ryleigh, Logan and Ashley Baillinger with Kayden and Montana, Cassie Ballinger with Hunter Alofs. His loyal and faithful dog “Jack”, longtime friends from the Trowbridge Township Gun Club. Special thanks to Pete Hammond and Barbie Hill who helped during Bob’s journey. A celebration of Life will be held in the Springtime at Pike Lake. Burial with Military Honors will be at Fort Custer National Cemetery at a later date.
