Robert "Bob" Steeves

Robert “Bob / Chief” Franklin Steeves passed away on Saturday, September 17, 2022, at the age of 75. Bob was born in Chicago, Illinois on February 19, 1947, to Frank (Bub) and Rita (Gallagher) Steeves. Bob attended Reavis High School in Burbank, Illinois. He worked for the Nash Engineering Company for over 40 years.

Bob is survived by his wife of 49 years, Karen; son, Scott (Jennifer) Steeves; granddaughters, Brooke and Keira; son, Brad (Heather) Steeves; grandsons, Conall and Brendan; sister, Lee (Tom) Loughney; brother, John (Lindy) Steeves; brother, Jim (Kim) Steeves; and nieces and nephews, Tim, Mike, Kelly, Molly, Megan, Colleen, Connor, Steven, Shelby, Rachele, and Alex.

Bob’s main love in life has always been his family. His other passion was officiating high school and collegiate baseball and football for over 40 years. He has officiated state championships in each sport.

Funeral mass for Bob will be held on Thursday, September 29, 2022, at 10am (Central Time) at St. Scholastica Church, 7800 Janes Avenue, Woodridge, Illinois, 60517. (539)975-2351.
