Roy Marvin Williams

In loving memory of Roy M. Williams who passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 28, 2017 surrounded by family at Borgess Medical Center in Kalamazoo, MI. He was born on December 2, 1953 to the late Ernest and Joyce Williams. Roy was a Comstock High School class of 1972 graduate and an outstanding high school athlete. He retired from Parker Hannifin Corporation where he was employed for many years. Roy was married to the love of his life, Marilyn (Gansen) Williams who preceded him in death in 2015. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, especially time spent on the golf course. He is survived by his daughter Angela (Tim) Keene-Kennedy, sister Susan (Wayne) Petto, brother Dean (Patricia) Williams, 4 grandchildren (Samantha, Olivia, Thomas, and Bella), and several nieces and nephews. Roy was loved by many for his kindness and generosity and will be deeply missed. A private memorial gathering for family and close friends will be held at a later date.
