Sally Ruth Ann Loofboro of Kalamazoo MI, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday November 10, 2021, at Bronson Methodist Hospital in Kalamazoo MI. Sally was born August 5th, 1989, in Kalamazoo MI. She is survived by her father Joseph Loofboro, mother Teresa Reynolds-Loofboro, brother and sister-in-law Justin and Danielle Loofboro, nephews Knox and Reiker, loving fiancé Luciano Dukus and Grandmother Ruth Ann Dobler. Sally is processed in death by her grandfather John Leo Loofboro, grandmother Sally A. Dirkse-Loofboro and Grandfather Lawrence Ernest Reynolds. Sally was a very caring and thoughtful person with a strong faith in God. She adored every animal and child. Sally has a smile that lit up every room she entered, and her kindness was unlike any other. A celebration is Sally’s life will be held at First Baptist Church of Plainwell, 404 W Bridge St. Plainwell MI 49080, Saturday November 20, 2021 at 1 p.m. With a short visitation starting at 12:30 p.m. Following the celebration of Sally there will be a visitation held at 123 E Baseline Rd. Plainwell MI 49080. The family encourages anyone who knew Sally to come and celebrate her life with them, there will be plenty of food and refreshments. Per Sally’s wishes the family asks that no one wears black, and she would have loved to see everyone in bright colors! In lieu of flowers the family is asking for donations to be made to the Sally Loofboro Pet Care Fund at Advia Credit Union, a Venmo account will be set up linked to this memorial fund as well. Those who knew Sally knew her love for animals was out of this world and she would always do anything to help an animal in need. The family would love to keep this fund open as a living tribute to Sally and the funds will go to families in need of pet care assistance.
