Sandra Lee DeYoung

DEYOUNG, Sandra L. Schoolcraft Died quietly surrounded by her family Feb. 3, 2010. Sandra was born Feb. 5, 1939 in Kalamazoo the daughter of Steven and Ester (Boguta) Misterka. She was a nurse at Bronson Hospital and for the Kalamazoo County Sheriff's Department. On Feb. 23, 1957 she married H. Donald DeYoung who survives. Also surviving are 2 sons; David and Teresia DeYoung of Kalamazoo and Don and Vickey DeYoung of Parchment, 2 daughters; Lucynda DeYoung of Schoolcraft and Michele and Scott Forsburg of Parchment and 2 grandchildren. At her request cremation has taken place. A funeral mass will be celebrated 10am Wednesday Feb. 10, 2010 at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church with the Rev. Father John Fleckenstein celebrant. The family will greet friends at the church before the service from 9 to 10 followed by a luncheon at Marion Hall after the service.
