Sheery Linda Sziede 63 of Marcellus, Michigan passed away at home.

Sheery was born on March 1, 1959 in Allegan, MI, the daughter of Maynard Edwards and Vernice (Schott) Edwards.

On December 27, 1989, in Michigan she married Martin Sziede who survives her.

Sheery volunteered for 10 years and was a member of the women’s auxiliary at the Marcellus VFW Post 4054. Sherry loved collecting music boxes, softball, being by the pool and playing with her grandchildren. She also enjoyed doing yard work with Marty, mushroom hunting and filming lightning storms.

Sheery is survived by her husband; Marty, daughter; Holly (Jerred) Mellville of Marcellus, sons; Eric (Emily) Sziede of Schoolcraft, Adam (Shannon) Sziede of Schoolcraft, grandchildren; David (Abbygail) Seelye, Austin Melville, Addison Sziede, Arden Sziede, Ryder Sziede, Andrew Sziede, Skyler Ratering, Katelyn (Alex) Branagan, great-grandson; Liam Branagan, 3 sisters and 2 brothers.

Sheery is preceded in death by her parents Maynard and Vernice and 6 siblings.

Cremation has taken place. The family will receive friends from 11:00-1:00pm. Friday, October 28, 2022 at the Mater-Ralston Funeral Home, 52780 M-40 North, Marcellus. Funeral services will be held at 1:00, Friday October 28, 2022 with Pastor of the Church officiating. Memorial donations may be directed to the Marcellus VFW Post 4054.
