SHIRLEY ANN JUDKINS JOHNSON COX FUNERAL HOME BASTROP, LOUISIANA Mrs. Shirley Ann Johnson was born at Bastrop, Louisiana on April 17, 1943 to the late Jefferson Davis Judkins and Irene Ridenour Judkins. She passed away, surrounded by her family, at the home of her son in Schoolcraft, Michigan on May 13, 2020. Shirley is also preceded in death by her daughter Donna Lynn Fleming and her siblings Maragaret Morrison, Joyce Smith, Joann Dees, Vicky Cox, Sonny Judkins, Ray Judkins, and Roy Judkins. Mrs. Johnson was a member of Faith Baptist Church and a retired as a customer service manager at Wal-Mart. She enjoyed being in the outdoors and was and avid hunter and fisher. She also loved gardening and was an excellent cook. Most of all she held a deep love and admiration for her family. Ms. Shirley is survived by her husband of 60 years, Marion Johnson; her son Todd Johnson and wife Nikki Johnson of Schoolcraft, Michigan; grandson, Dylan Johnson and fiancee' Anna Pruitt and son-in-law Mark Fleming of Bastrop, Louisiana. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of friends. The family will receive friends on Monday, May 18, 2020 beginning at 12 noon at the Chapel of Cox Funeral Home located at 611 N. Washington Street, Bastrop LA 71220, followed by funeral services at 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Bro. Casey Johnson will officiate the service. Committal services and burial will be at Memorial Park Cemetery of Bastrop under the direction of Cox Funeral Home. Serving as pallbearers are Mike Dees, Lonnie Johnson, Chris Judkins, Michael Johnson, Ronnie Hayes, and Ricky Gross. Due to the occupancy restrictions in place on social gatherings, attendance at the visitation and services will be limited.
