Shirley Lou McGregor

Shirley L. McGregor Age 75, died on Wednesday July 30, 2014 at Bronson Hospital. Shirley was born April 26, 1939 in Wyandotte, Michigan. Her parents were Cleon and Geraldine Daley. On July 5, 1955, she married the love of her life, Russell V. McGregor. Shirley had a very strong faith and a deep love of family and friends. She was a loving mother and Nanny to her family and many others throughout her life. Shirley had an excellent sense of humor and took a great delight in all phases of her life. She loved crafting, gardening, wildlife, shopping and especially caring for her family and friends. In retirement, Shirley and Russ wintered in south Texas where they developed many friendships and considered some to be their family away from home. Shirley is survived by her husband Russell, children; Cindy (Troy) Sage, Lori (Bernie) VanderPloeg, Russell (Patricia) McGregor; grandchildren; Russell Sage, Melissa Sage, Rusty (Ashley) McGregor, Dylan McGregor, Amanda (Marc) Welser, great grandchildren; Owen McGregor, Bo Wesler, sisters; Barbara (Red) Grinage, Phyllis West, brother; Robert Conrad; nephew; Thomas (Susan) McGraw and many other family members. Shirley was preceded in death by her daughter Minerva "Micky" McGregor, parents Cleon and Geraldine Daley and other family members. A life celebration for Shirley will be announced at a future date.
