Shirley A. Motter

Shirley A. Motter, age 71, of Marcellus, MI passed away Saturday, June 27, 2020 at home.
She was born February 9, 1949 in Bristol, PA, the daughter of Louis and Anna (DiPalna) Sessa. On January 1, 1966 in Bristol, PA she married Gerald E. Motter who preceded her death in May 2010.
Shirley has been a resident of Marcellus since 1973. She was formerly employed as a beautician, worked at Cree Coaches in Marcellus and Holiday Inn Express in Three Rivers. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary Post 4054 in Marcellus. Shirley loved her family and was very proud of her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She is survived by one son, Jerry (Susie) Motter Jr. of Marcellus; one daughter Kimberly Forde of Connecticut; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Jerry, daughter Christine Rogers and two brothers.
Visitation will be held from 4 to 6 PM, Friday, July 3, 2020 at the Mater-Ralston Funeral Home with memorial services immediately following at 6PM. Memorial contributions may be directed to the American Cancer Society. Online condolences may be left at www.materralstonfuneralhome.com
