Shirley Scott

Shirley Frances Williams Scott, born on January 29, 1930, in Kalamazoo, Michigan, to Frank and Frances Williams, passed away peacefully on August 16, 2024. She was a devoted wife to Jerry Scott, whom she married on July 3, 1948, sharing 67 years of marriage.

Shirley and Jerry had eight children. She is survived by Walter and his wife Wanda, Cheryl, Tom and his wife Dee, Sally and her husband Ken, Jeff and his wife Peggy, Mark and his wife Sue, Jon and his wife Teresa, and Judy and her husband Doug. Her family grew to include 26 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.

Shirley had a passion for gardening and playing the piano. She dedicated her life to staying at home to raise her children, working tirelessly to provide a loving and nurturing environment. She also cherished spending time with her family and her siblings.

Shirley’s legacy of love, hard work, and dedication to her family will be cherished and remembered by all who knew her.
