Stan was close to his siblings and was there for them when they needed him. He enjoyed being outside, riding on this tractor, snow plowing, feeding the birds and hanging out with his neighbors. It wasn’t unusually to find neighbors gathered with Stan and Maggie at the beer shed for cookouts and socializing. Stanley resided in Kalkaska until his passing. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Myrna Kelly, brother Harold Cartwright and son Stanley M Cartwright. Surviving are his siblings: Myra (Gerald) Eplee and Martha Courtney, Also surviving are his children, Doris (Michael) Mcclish, Wesley Cartwright, Shirley (Gary) Overloop, 9 Grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
