Steven James Harrington

Steven James Harrington, 40, passed away on November 30, 2021 in Schoolcraft, MI. He was born on December 09, 1980, in Howell, MI to Steven & Debbie Harrington. Steven was employed with International Paper since he was 18 years old. He was a hard worker that enjoyed fishing, camping and being with his family. Steven was a kind man with a great smile. He was the rock of his family and an amazing, caring father to Jacob and Sara. At family gatherings, Steven’s dish to pass was his ever-popular pineapple upside down cake. He was a Detroit Lions fan no matter what. Steven would do anything for his family, and he will be deeply missed. He was preceded in death by his grandparents: Roy and Mary Lou Scott of Howell, MI and John Whittenburg of Fowlerville, MI. Steven is survived by his children Jacob 19 and Sara 16 of Schoolcraft, MI; their mother Angela Harrington; his parents Debbie and Steven; siblings: Stephanie (Joseph) Carr, James Whittenburg and John (Mary) Whittenburg; his nieces and nephews: Kayla, Andrew, Nicholas, Sean, Anna, Phoenix, Raven, Jayce and Olivia. Following his wishes cremation has taken place. The family is planning a memorial service for a later date.
