Steven Wayne Roe

ROE, Steven Wayne Galesburg Steven Wayne Roe, age 57, passed away peacefully, surrounded by loved ones on June 10, 2014, at the University of Michigan Hospital. Steve was born on August 8, 1956 in Kalamazoo, the son of the late William and Janice (Garrett) Roe. Surviving are his wife of 35 years, Cindy (Lewman) Roe; son, Kevin; and daughter, Kelli. Steve is also survived by two brothers, Bill (Linda) Roe of Wagoner, OK, and Mark (Mary) Roe of Toledo, OH; a sister Pam (Terry) Roe-Vanderburg of Vicksburg, MI; several cousins, nieces and nephews. He graduated from Galesburg-Augusta High School in 1974, where he was active in football and wrestling. Steve worked many years in sales and service at Clarage Fan and Buck Forkardt. Following his career in sales, Steve owned and operated Royal Lawn Care. The family will receive friends on Friday, June 13, from 6-8 PM and a celebration of Steve's life will be held on Saturday, June 14th at 1 PM with Reverend Whitney Brown officiating. Both the visitation and service will take place at the Congregational United Church of Christ (C.U.C.C.), 22 Church Street, Galesburg, MI. A private burial will take place at a later date.
