Tamara Ricketts

Tamera Ricketts was born October twelfth 1960 and passed away July twenty-ninth 2024 at the Rose Arbor Hospice Center in Kalamazoo. Born to the late Joan and Dale Knobloch, Tamera is preceded in death by her husband Robert and sister Robin. She is survived by her three children Robert II, Tiffany, and Tyler, as well as her two older half siblings, Steven and Deborah. Better known to her friends and family as Tami, she loved many things including cats of all kinds, movies, the company of friends, and the color green. She spent days on end soaking up sun on the beach with her favorite sister and niece and then continued the tradition with her own three children. Tami was known to always be a hard worker and held many jobs over the years, but the semi-retired life brought her new happiness with her latest job as a simple friendly cashier at her local grocery store. She loved meeting new people and listening to what everyone had to say. Tamera is also survived by four young grandchildren she adored and loved. Arguably Tami’s crowning achievement was meeting these four and being able to see her legacy continue. However, perhaps the closest person in Tami’s life was none other than her daughter Tiffany, who was never more than a few steps away at all times, right up until the moment Tami departed this earth. She was so beautiful her entire life and even though she barely reached five feet tall, this tiny woman will leave an enormous void in many people’s hearts. Bless Tami on her journey and keep her family in your hearts.
