Thomas Franklin McCoy

MCCOY, Thomas F. Portage, Passed away Dec. 22, 2009. Thomas was born May 5, 1933 in Korea the son of Thomas and Frances (Wood) McCoy. He was a 1955 graduate of Ferris State University College of Pharmacy, retired from Upjohn-Pfizer Co., long time member of the Moors Golf Club in Portage, member of Prince of Peace Lutheran Church and an avid supporter of the Portage athletics. He married Dorothy Diehl Sept. 24, 1955 who survives. Also surviving are 2 daughters; Amy McCoy Burch of Portage and Pamela (Thomas) McLean of Plymouth, 5 grandchildren; Stacy Burch, Kelsey Burch, Alexander Burch, Madalyn McLean and Allyson McLean. At his request cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held 11am Tuesday Dec. 29, 2009 at the Prince of Peace Lutheran Church with Pastor Paul Nuechterlein officiating. Interment of cremains will take place at Three Rivers Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Parkinson's Association or Prince of Peace Church.
