Timothy Daniel Beurmann

Timothy Daniel Beurmann of Portage, Michigan passed away at home on Wednesday, April 6, 2022, at the age of 61.  He was born in Lansing, Michigan, on November 1, 1960, the son of Laurence and Carolyn Beurmann.

Tim grew up in the Marcellus area and following high school, he enlisted in the United States Navy where he began traveling the world.  Tim honorably served his country from 1981 until 1985.  After the Navy, Tim began a 36-year career with Edward Rose and Sons.

Work was Tim’s biggest hobby.  His work ethic, knowledge and vast experience help Tim advance from a position in maintenance to becoming the Director of Property Management at the Kalamazoo Division of Edward Rose and Sons.  He was a great leader and mentor for all who worked near him.  

In addition to the many accomplishments Tim achieved at Edward Rose and Sons, he found the love of his life, Janis Pritchard.  On June 25, 1993, they were united in marriage and their romance continued for 28 years.  Tim was a loving husband and father, and was determined to provide for his family and they could depend on him for anything.  It can be difficult to find the right words to describe Tim, but to most he will always be remembered as a strong, loyal and hardworking man that loved spending his time with his family and friends.  

He is preceded in his passing by his mother: Carolyn (Marriott) Beurmann

Left to cherish his loving memory is his wife of twenty-eight years: Janis (Pritchard) Beurmann; children: Andrew (Brittany) Blank and Danielle (Justin) Northrup; grandchildren: Carter and Carson Blank; father: Laurence Beurmann; siblings: Darcy Meade, Chris (Carey) Beurmann, Dennis (Pam) Beurmann, and Kevin Beurmann; and countless nieces, nephews and friends.

In accordance with Tim’s wishes cremation  has taken place.
