Timothy E. Price, age 41 of Vicksburg, passed away Saturday, June 13, 2020 at home after a courageous fight against cancer. Tim was born on March 14, 1979 in Kalamazoo, Michigan to Robert E. and Lynne M. Price. He was united in marriage to Jennifer A. Glaser-Price on November 15, 2019.
Tim was a 1997 graduate of Vicksburg High School and after graduation he joined the U. S. Marine Corp. of which he was a veteran. He was employed in commercial heating and cooling and most recently worked for Dean Boiler in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
Tim was a kind and loving husband, son and father. He was a friend to many and well-liked by all. Tim enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, bonfires, PBR, and virtually any outsdoor activity. He was a coach for the Vicksburg Little League and enjoyed introducing kids to the great outdoors. Tim will be greatly missed.
Tim is survived by his loving wife, Jen Glaser-Price, his children, Ryan Price-Salazar and Paris Price of Portage, and his stepchildren, Delaney Glaser and Raymond Glaser of Vicksburg. He is also survived by his parents, Robert and Lynne Price of Vicksburg, a brother, Daniel (Trish Baker) Price of Inver Grove Heights, Minnesota, a sister, Genevieve (Jamie) Carter of Vicksburg, his paternal grandmother, Katherine (Price) Finch of Scotts, Great Aunt Nancee (Terry Newell) Beach of Baldwin, as well as many special aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews, cousins and friends. Tim was preceded in death by his paternal grandfathers, Robert Price Sr.and Harry Finch, and his maternal grandparents, Merlin and Faye Hines.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, June 19, 2020 from 4:00pm until 7:00pm at the VFW Post 1527, 1920 E. Kilgore Service Road, Portage MI 49002
*Due to Covid restrictions and social distancing regulations this will be an open house to allow everyone to stop by. Masks are required when entering and exiting the building and while not seated.
A private service for family will be held at Fort Custer National Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flower's, Memorial contributions may be made to Glioblastoma Foundation (glioblastomafoundation.org), directly to Jen for an educational fund for the children or to a charity of your choice.
