Timothy Jon Shay

SHAY, Timothy Kalamazoo Passed away after a long illness at Rose Arbor with family present on Wednesday July 25th. Born to Fredrick and Dorothy Shay, Tim spent his entire life in the Greater Kalamazoo Community. An avid outdoorsman, sportsman and family man, he worked hard and played hard. He was a union man from his first job in 1959. Tim was a Plumber and Pipefitter by trade, retiring as Business Manager of Local 337/357 in 1995. He leaves his wife of 50 years Rosemary, his sons; Dr. Eric Shay (and wife Kim), and Todd, grandchildren; Ally, Ruby and Max, and sister; Cynthia Maul, along with several nieces and nephews and their families. The family would like to thank Hospice Care of Southwest Michigan, Rose Arbor, Drs. Dieleman and Lawlor, and their staffs, and so many friends and relatives, for their help and kindness.
