Tyler Michael Cantlon

Tyler Michael Cantlon of Portage, MI passed away on Sunday, March 20, 2022 at the age of ten. He was born on June 30, 2011 in Mareno Valley, CA the son of Serena Esman. 

Tyler enjoyed going on trips to the beach, going on hikes, and riding the bus and going to school. He liked listening to music and the sound of his toy bells. He had a sweet tooth for anything chocolate, his favorites being pudding, cake, and Reese's Peanut Butter Cups. Tyler could always be found with one of his stuffed animals. More than anything he enjoyed playing with people and receiving attention. 

He will be fondly remembered for his goofy faces and silly attitude, always having a smile on his face, and being the sweetest boy. When asked what the meaning of life was he responded with a “Woo!”

Left to cherish Tyler’s loving memory is his mother: Serena Esman; Grandpa and Nana; uncles: Cameron and Eli; Jesse Anders; grandma: Lyn; and his bunnies: Harley and Remus.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to all of his teachers, aides, therapists, nurses, and bus driver.

In accordance with the family’s wishes cremation has taken place and a private service will be held on a later date.
