Unabelle Harris

Harris, Unabelle (Belle) - Died on April 7, 2015. She was born in Homer, New York on February 7, 1921, daughter of Thomas and Una B. Prichard. On July 12, 1947 she was married to Neil Harris, who preceded her in death on January 18, 1992. In addition to her husband and parents, 4 brothers and 3 sisters preceded her in death. Surviving are a son and grandson, David Neil and Tyler Harris of Bartlett, Illinois, and many nieces and nephews. Belle worked for the Upjohn Co. and the Kalamazoo Public Schools. She was a long time member of First United Methodist Church, where she was active in the Ruth Circle of the United Methodist Women. At her request, Belle was cremated and interment of cremains placed in the Memorial Columbarium at the church. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 11, 2015, at 2:00 p.m., in the chapel of the First United Methodist Church, 212 S. Park Street with Pastor Dan Duncan officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to the United Methodist Women's Missions at the church. Belle's smile and laugh will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
