Virginia Mae Topp

Virginia Mae Topp, age 95, passed away Tuesday, December 10, 2019. She was born August 21, 1924 in Kalamazoo, the daughter of the late Samuel and Katherine (Doorenbos) Slater. She was a gifted musician from an early age and performed in many venues throughout her life. In 1944, she married Neil Lee Topp, who passed away in 2004. She was a member of Grace Harbor Church. Surviving are her children, Gerald (Merrie) Topp, Cheryl (Michael) Davis, Randall Topp and Linda (Gregory) Lusso; 11 Grandchildren, Ronald (Kristen) Topp, Pamala Topp, David Topp, Cameron Topp, Meilee Topp, Michael Davis, Jr., Jennifer Davis, Nicholas Topp, Aaron Topp, Courtney (Christopher) Slater and Andrew (Karlee) Lusso; 10 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great grandson and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, a grandson, Daniel Lee Topp, her parents and brothers, Robert W. Slater and John H. Slater. A private graveside service will be held at a later date.
