William Everett Haynes

HAYNES, William Everett Vicksburg Age 73 Passed away Sunday February 2, 2014 after a long fight with C. O. P. D. William was born January 9, 1941 in Vicksburg, MI to Everett D. and Thelma J. (Reed) Haynes. William was an avid outdoorsman, loved hunting and fishing. He was an excellent marksman, and competed in many different shooting events and competitions. He also loved his family dearly. He attended Vicksburg high school and then worked in the paper industry. He retired from Simpson Paper Co. in Vicksburg. He leaves behind a wife Diane E. Haynes of Vicksburg, MI, 2 Children, Tina (Brian) Gales of Mendon MI, Todd ( Rebecca) Haynes of Mendon MI, 9 Grandchildren, Jessica Haynes and Steve Young of Louisville KY, Haleigh (Brady) Cupp Leonidas, MI , Ciera Haynes and Corey Adams Mendon MI, Joseph Gales, Madison Haynes, and Jenna Gales all of Mendon MI. 2 Great Grandchildren Layne and Levi Cupp Leonidas MI and one on the way Cameron Adams Mendon MI. 4 Sisters, Ruth (Russ) Bartholomew Scotts MI. Elaine Barringer, Vicksburg MI, Shirley (Bill) Valencourt Vicksburg MI, Donna (Kenneth) Reams of Virginia and many loved nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by a Son Billy, Father Everett and Mother Thelma, 4 Sisters, Lillian, Jeanette, Dorothy and Mary, 2 Brothers Roger known as (Stub) and Bud. Cremation has taken place. In remembrance a service and luncheon will be held Saturday February 8, 2014 @11 am in the United Methodist Church Vicksburg MI. Memorials may be donated to Hospice of Southwestern Michigan, and envelopes will be available at the service.
